The Art of Grieving with Horses

Join us for an embodied experience with nature, community, and horses at the beautiful Unbridled Way Farm, in northern Durham County. Come experience ways of working with, holding, honoring and exploring grief in nature and the company of horses.

Our Grief Retreats have been powerful gatherings and we are honored to continue them. Together, we will create a safe place for people to continue to land with their grief in a sacred way. All are welcome.

Together we will:

• Share memories and stories about our losses.

• Gently bring the body into the grieving experience.

• Integrate missing pieces through facilitated experiences with horses.

Experiences with horses bring us out of our heads and into our bodies, where our true wisdom lies and where healing can happen. They create a safe non-judgmental space for us to deepen into that which we have hidden and buried and to emerge with more wholeness.

Together, we will explore our relationship to grief as we work with the wisdom of the horses, the wisdom of nature, and the wisdom of the body.y.

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors, Amanda Graham and Jenna Little are both passionate about creating integrative healing experiences that transform our confusion and pain to bring more clarity and wholeness to one’s life. They are both committed to holding space for those who are ready to explore this tender and universal experience of grieving.
